Inga’s & Brooklyn Heights Promenade
The restaurant on our street where we got drinks just after getting engaged around the corner! Down the street, the promenade has great views of Manhattan. It’s above another great waterfront park we frequently visit, Brooklyn Bridge Park.
Theatre
Some Broadway shows we’ve seen or recommend for your visit: Oh, Mary!, Redwood, Hamilton, Wicked, The Lion King, and an off broadway favorite: Titanique. For a bar that sings show tunes every night, go to Marie’s Crisis Cafe.
Dumbo Waterfront & Brooklyn Flea
Explore a flea market in Dumbo every Sunday morning under the Brooklyn Bridge. Stop at Butler for coffee and take a ride on Jane’s Carousel. Time Out Market has many food vendors from popular NYC restaurants.
Museums
Some of our favorites are the Met, the Guggenheim, the Morgan Library Museum, MoMA, The Whitney, and Noguchi Museum. For kids, check out The American Museum of Natural History, The Intrepid, and The Transit Museum.
